Biography

Kathy Paul (Ms. Kathy) been an educator for over 35 years. This will be her 2nd year at The Academy of Spectrum Diversity, this year serving as Head Teacher.

Ms. Kathy has expertise with students at many different levels of development, Pre-K through High School. Through the many challenges of raising her own family of four, she shows great empathy for other parents and can see many issues from both sides, as a parent and a teacher.

Ms. Kathy received her Associate of Arts degree from College of DuPage and worked with exceptional students in the PreK and Early Elementary grades in Chicago.  Continuing her education, she graduated from National Louis University with her Bachelor’s degree in Educational Behavioral Science.  In 2007 Ms. Kathy moved to Texas and worked as a Principal and Children’s Pastor. She attended Global University and received her credentials as a minister in the Assemblies of God. In June 2014 Ms. Kathy and her husband Rick moved to the Tampa Bay area.

Ms. Kathy continues to further her education and has received these certification:

  • Professional Teaching Certificate Elementary Education K-6 FLOCS/ILCS
  • Prepare/Enrich certification for Families Consulting
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Counseling
  • Antecedent-based Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention
  • Peer-mediated Instruction and Intervention.
